In addition to PR, Differential Communications is known for planning and executing world-class overland events. Though highly valuable, these events are out of reach for many brands. So, Diff Comms created “Overland Invitational,” a six-figure content trip for a fraction of the price.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Overland Invitational?
Differential Communications’ Overland Invitational is a content-gethering expedition with a mission. It’s also a networking event for brands and influencers in the overland and off-road industry.
Why is Diff Comms hosting this event?
Brands in the overland and off-road industry have a constant need for authentic, high-quality content. But not everyone can constantly produce content for their ad campaigns and social-media channels. So, Diff Comms decided to create a platform, the Overland Invitational event series, as a low-cost solution for brands to capture much-needed content that both tells a story and cross-polinates with other brands in the segment. After all, a rising tide lifts all ships.
What makes Overland Invitational different?
First of all, it’s an invite-only event, not just anyone can attend — attendees are a mix of both companies as well as influencers. Secondly, Overland Invitational has a mission: Protect our public lands. In addition to rubbing elbows with overland industry leaders, we’ll also hear from indigenous and local communities and stakeholders about the region we’re exploring and why it should remain protected.
What do I get?
No matter which package you get, you will be led on a three-day overland adventure through southeast Utah in and around the Bears Ears national monument. Along the way, you’ll learn the natural and cultural history of the region as well as a greater understanding of the significance of the public land and why it’s so important to protect it now and in the future.
What are you responsible for?
Diff Comms will set and lead you along the curated route from Tuesday to Friday morning. You are responsible for your own food/water, fuel, and sleeping arrangements. That means bring spare fuel, all your food and water, and a camping setup. Since you’re invited on this trip, we know you’re a seasoned overlander. But we wanted to make it clear that attendees need to come fully prepared to be self-sustaining during the event.
